Moratorium on business check ups extended for half a year – premier
Ukrainian authorities have decided to prolong a moratorium on business check ups in the country by monitoring agencies for six months, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"Concerning small and medium business, we introduced a moratorium on carrying out check ups and reduced taxation for small enterprises by double…For half a year a moratorium on all kinds of check ups carried out by Ukrainian supervisory agencies, except for the State Fiscal Service and the State Finance Inspection, has been extended," Yatseniuk said during his final press conference of the year in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He also added that Ukrainian authorities "banned check ups on small and medium-sized businesses for a two-year term, and dropped tax on small and medium-sized businesses threefold."
