If Europe doesn't want South Stream project to be implemented, energy will be re-directed to other markets - Putin
The European Commission's position on the South Steam project is not constructive and does not reflect Europe's economic interests, said President Vladimir Putin.
"We think that the European Commission's position was not constructive. In actual fact the European Commission is not just reluctant to facilitate this project. What we see is obstacles emerging in its implementation. If Europe does not want to implement it, it will not be implemented then," Putin said after talks with Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
Putin also said that Russian energy resources will be redirected to other markets and "Europe will not get such amounts, at least from Russia."
