Lviv Railways preparing 654 passenger cars for summer

Lviv Railways is preparing 654 passenger carriages for summer, 227 of which are equipped with air conditioning systems.

According to the press service of the railways, 23 cars will be overhauled, 65 cars – repaired at depots, 171 units of rolling stock will be checked, and another 395 cars will undergo technical inspections.

In addition, 396 ticket offices are being prepared for work at stations.

"For the proper servicing of passengers during the summer season, the railroad is ready to attract additional 65 conductors, in particular, 15 students of profile educational institutions," reads the report.

Lviv Railways crosses the southwestern part of Ukraine in six regions: Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, and Volyn.
