There is no railway communication between Ukraine and Belarus – Ukrzaliznytsia head
There is currently no railway communication between Ukraine and Belarus, Oleksandr Kamyshin, Board Chairman of Ukrzaliznytsia, has said.
"I recently appealed to the Belarusian railway workers not to follow criminal orders and not to carry Russian military trains towards Ukraine. Today, I can say that there is no railway communication between Ukraine and Belarus," Kamyshin said on the Current Time TV on Saturday.
At the same time, he said that he would not voice the details, but "he is grateful to the Belarusian railway workers for what they are doing."
Answering a clarifying question from the presenter, Kamyshin confirmed that the railway lines connecting Ukraine and Belarus have been in an unusable condition "from a certain moment of the war."
