Ukraine to buy 33-35 bcm of gas from Russia in 2014 - ministry
Ukraine will buy 33 billion-35 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia in 2014, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky told a press conference at the Interfax-Ukraine head office.
"As for purchases this year, this will be at least 33-35 billion cubic meters. It'll all depend on the winter peaks this heating season," Stavytsky said.
He also said national oil and gas company Naftogaz would resolve the issue of $2.7 billion debt to Russia's Gazprom by the end of January.
