Stavytsky put on wanted list - acting prosecutor general
Former Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky has been put on the wanted list, Acting Ukrainian Prosecutor General Oleh Makhnitsky has said.
"Investigative actions are being conducted, and [Stavytsky] has been put on the wanted list," Makhnitsky said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
He said that the Interior Ministry was engaged in the search for Stavytsky.
Makhnitsky also said Stavytsky is also suspected of massive misappropriations of funds and premises related to Stavytsky have been searched in connection with this investigation.
As reported, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office conducted searches at an apartment of the former energy minister as part of a criminal investigation into gas market fraud.
