Ukraine's deputy PM to attend meeting of CIS Economic Council
A Ukrainian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boiko has left for Moscow to take part in the 60th meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States, deputy premier's office said on Friday.
The delegation includes First Deputy Foreign Minister Ruslan Demchenko, Deputy Industrial Policy Minister Nataliya Boytsun, State Space Agency Chairman Yuriy Alekseyev, and General Director of the Employers Federation Ruslan Illichov, the office said in a statement.
The agenda for the Economic Council meeting includes draft agreements on pipeline transit in CIS member countries and on exchanges of scientific and technological information; the current state and problems of statistical activities in the CIS, a plan for cooperation between border regions in CIS states in 2014 and 2015, a draft CIS radio navigation program to be in effect until 2016, the performance of the CIS Council of Customs Chiefs, and the current state of electronic information support resources for innovative activities in CIS member countries.
