Ukraine next week plans to sign contract on reverse gas supplies via Slovakia in 2014, says minister
Ukraine next week plans to sign a contract on supplies of gas in 2014 via Slovakia, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky has said.
He said that Slovakia has sent the relevant document for agreement with Ukraine.
"We're working on [the contract] and we'll sign it next week," he said in Vilnius on Thursday, November 28.
The minister said that this would concern reverse gas supplies from Slovakia to Ukraine in volumes of at least 10 billion cubic meters a year.
Earlier Stavytsky reported that Ukraine has received a draft agreement that will allow gas supplies to come from Europe to Ukraine via Slovakia from Slovakia's Eustream. He forecasted that the document would be signed in the near future.
