Ukraine yet to present estimate of its gas pipelines to Gazprom - Miller
Ukraine was due to evaluate its gas pipeline network before August 1, but did not do that even now, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller told reporters.
He did not say why Ukraine had not published its estimate. "I do not know why they do not like their estimate," Miller said.
"We have received nothing, we are still waiting," Gazprom Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev said.
The current contract of Gazprom on gas transit through Ukraine will expire in 2019. Asked whether Gazprom would continue to use Ukrainian pipelines, Miller said, "The demand for gas in Europe will grow, so I think the answer is yes."
