Kuleba congratulates Metsola on his re-election as European Parliament President

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba congratulated Roberta Metsola on her re-election as President of the European Parliament.

"Sincerely congratulation to Roberta Metsola on her reelection as President of the European Parliament. I appreciate European Parliament President's continued leadership in rallying EU support for Ukraine and look forward to furthering our cooperation," he said on the X social network.

Kuleba said the European Parliament has been, and continues to be, a driving force behind bold and principled decisions for a stronger, more united Europe.

"This is a common cause that we are eager to work on together," he said.

As reported, on July 16, a representative of the European Populists group, member of Malta Roberta Metsola, was re-elected President of the European Parliament by an overwhelming majority of votes.
