Right Sector leader Yarosh calls on fellow Ukrainians to prepare for civil unrest

The leader of the Right Sector (RS) and Ukrainian parliamentarian Dmytro Yarosh has warned the authorities of the likelihood of launching a struggle for "the elimination of the internal-occupation regime."

"I am appealing to first figures and top security officials: stop the repressions against patriots, otherwise you will end your rule very badly... This time round you won't run away from Ukraine like your predecessors did. I am calling on all Ukrainian citizens, soldiers and activists of the Right Sector national liberation movement to prepare for active acts of civil unrest whose main goal will be to eliminate the internal occupation regime and secure national statehood for the Ukrainian people," Yarosh wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

His appeal came after searches and arrests of Avtomaidan activists in Odesa.

"People's patience is already running out, and it is getting impossible to stop people from armed resistance," Yarosh wrote.

He also instructed Right Sector commanders and the movement's socio-political leaders "to submit concrete proposals on conducting rallies and events and start talks with representatives of other political, social and military forces with the aim to join efforts in the fight against political repressions."

On September 8, a court in Odesa ordered a two-month detention of the RS Odesa leader Serhiy Sternenko and RS Kominternivsky District leader Ruslan Demchuk, who are suspected of kidnapping Kominternivsky District councilor Serhiy Scherbych.
