Korolevska not ruling out her participation in early presidential elections

Former Ukrainian Social Policy Minister Natalia Korolevska has said that she could run in the early presidential elections in May.

"It's too early to talk about it, but I don't rule out this possibility," she said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.

She said that she saw herself in active political life and in the work on improving the social sphere in the country.

As reported, Korolevska topped the list of the Ukraine-Forward! Party in the 2012 parliamentary elections. Her party failed to overcome the 5% election threshold needed to win seats on the Verkhovna Rada. During the election campaign Korolevska stated that her party had tabled in parliament an anti-crisis package that would help ensure average salaries of EUR 1,000 and average pensions of EUR 500 in Ukraine.
