Ex-Polish President Kwasniewski leads top-10 Ukraine's lobbyists list – survey

Former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski has topped the list of ten best promoters of Ukraine in the world in 2013, based on an annual survey done by the Institute of World Policy, a Kyiv-based think tank.

"An absolute majority of experts have assigned the title of the best lobbyist of Ukraine in 2013 to Co-Chairman of the European Parliament's monitoring commission in Ukraine Aleksander Kwasniewski. The ex-Polish president has been placed first on the Top-10 lobbyists of Ukraine in the world list for the second time," the Institute of World Policy said in a statement.

European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule has been rated second, brothers Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko third, Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite fourth, Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt fifth, businessman Viktor Pinchuk sixth, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski seventh, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski eighth, former European Parliament President Pat Cox ninth, and European Parliament member Pawel Kowal tenth.

The Institute of World Policy pointed out that the survey had been conducted in November 2013, when Ukraine was "living in anticipation of the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius."
