Kriukov Car Building Works (KCBW, Poltava region) in 2017, according to live data, increased sales of products by 1.8 times compared to 2016, to UAH 3.6 billion, according to the website of the plant.

According to the report, over the past year the plant sold more than 2,000 freight cars, which is 30% more than a year ago, and 50 passenger cars (5.5 times more) to Ukrzaliznytsia.

"It is a pity that among them [freight wagons] there was not the most expected and large order from Ukrzaliznytsia. The struggle for orders for freight cars and diesel trains for it had lasted a year and is continuing," the report says.

As reported, in 2017 out of the expected almost 2,500 freight cars Ukrzaliznytsia was able to purchase only 250 units from the winner of the only tender held, Popasna Wagon Repair Plant.

According to ProZorro, the terms of a tender announced in November 2017 for the delivery of six diesel trains worth UAH 1.062 billion has already been shifted for a month (from January 23 to February 20) due to appeals against the terms of the tender.
