Urga airline wants to lease С RJ-200 aircraft from UTair with possibility of aircraft purchase

International joint-stock airline Urga, as a part of its cooperation with UTair-Ukraine airline, says it plans to lease a СRJ-200 aircraft from UTair-Ukraine's fleet.

Urga Director General Oleksandr Halynsky said that the company is studying the eventual leasing of all three СRJ-200 aircraft from the UTair-Ukraine's fleet.

He said that the company is mulling the expansion of its fleet with two or three SААВ-340 aircraft as they are in great demand today.

Halynsky said that the company's fleet today has nine SААВ-340 aircraft.

Urga Airline was founded in 1993. From December 1994 it is in the list of official carriers of the United Nations and provides high-level services for carriage of passengers, baggage and cargo for UN missions.

Its fleet includes 21 aircraft, including nine SAAB – 340, five An-26B, five An-26B-100, one An-24RV and one Cessna-172R.

UTair-Ukraine is a Ukrainian airline founded in 2009. It is part of the UTair group.
