UTair-Ukraine and Urga sign code sharing agreement on Kyiv-Lviv route

UTair-Ukraine and Urga international joint-stock airline have signed a code sharing agreement on the joint operation of the Kyiv-Lviv route.

According to a joint press release of the airlines, the flight is to be launched on June 18, 2014. Flights from Kyiv will be performed six times a week from new Terminal D at Kyiv Zhuliany International Airport from Monday to Friday at 0750, on Saturday – at 1000.

Departure from Lviv will be from Monday to Friday at 1845, on Sunday - at 1940.

Under the agreement, the operating carrier will be Urga, exploiting Swedish Saab 340 aircraft on the route. UTair-Ukraine is a marketing carrier.

Service on board is organized in premium economy class with food and other services, as well as in economy class, where passengers will be offered drinks.

"When Donetsk airport resumes operation, the passengers of UTair-Ukraine will be offered Lviv-Donetsk transit flights," reads the report.

As reported, UTair-Ukraine suspended flights from Kyiv to Luhansk, Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv, and Donetsk.
