Pavlo Rozenko
Member of Parliament of Ukraine of the 7th and 8th convocations. Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine (2014-16), Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine (2016-2020)
He was born on July 15, 1970 in Kyiv (Ukraine).
Education: Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
He was one of the founders of the first independent all-Ukrainian student organization - the Ukrainian Student Union (USU). He chaired the Kyiv city branch of the USS, was elected first deputy chairman of the Ukrainian Student Union. He was an active participant in the student hunger strike, known as the "Granite Revolution", which took place in October 1990. He was a member of the People's Movement of Ukraine (since 1989), the Young Movement.
He has been in the civil service since 1994. Until 2000 - Assistant and Consultant to the Member of Parliament of Ukraine. In 2000–2001 - Assistant to the Minister, Head of the Support Service of the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine. From 2001 to 2005 – Assistant and Consultant to the Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Committee on Environmental Policy, Nature Management and Elimination of the Consequences of the Chornobyl Disaster.
In February 2005, he was appointed First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy of Ukraine.
In 2007 - Head of the Social Policy Service of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine.
From 2008 to June 2010 - First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy of Ukraine.
Since 2010 - independent expert on social policy of Ukraine, a leading expert of the Razumkov Center, public figure.
Author of more than 100 articles and publications on social policy, pension reform, the system of benefits and compensations in Ukraine, wages, and other aspects of social and labor relations.
Since 2012 – Member of Parliament of Ukraine. Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Labor.
In December 2014, he was appointed the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.
2016 - 2020 - Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.
