Head of the Ternopil Regional State Administration from July 17, 2004 to January 19, 2005 and from June 16 to December 21, 2010. Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration from December 21, 2010 to November 2, 2011.

He headed the regional departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Poltava, Rivne and Lviv regions.

From April 5, 2016 he is the chairman of "Batkivshchyna" Party in the Lviv region, and later a member of the party’s political council.
