Cabinet appoints dpty minister Bidny as acting minister of sports
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed acting Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidny as Acting Minister of Youth and Sports.
As representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk said on Telegram, the corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Thursday.
"The duties of the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine have been temporarily assigned to Bidny Matviy Viktorovych," Melnychuk wrote.
As reported, on November 9, the Verkhovna Rada supported the resignation of Vadym Gutzeit from the post of Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
Prior to that, head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, said that the issue of a candidate for the post of minister would be resolved at the next session of parliament.
Earlier, the media reported that Anton Nikulin, the head of the Sports Department of the Lviv City Council Development Department, could become the new Minister of Sports.
