Croat Modric named best player of 2018 World Cup
Croatia captain and Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has been named the best player of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The Young Player Award was given to Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, who scored four goals, one of them in the tournament's final.
England's Harry Kane, who scored six goals (three from the penalty spot), was named the World Cup's top scorer.
Belgian Thibaut Courtois was awarded the Golden Glove for being the best goalkeeper at the tournament.
