Vitali Klitschko to attend inauguration ceremony at Intl. Boxing Hall of Fame in U.S. on June 7-10

Kyiv city mayor, former world heavyweight boxing champion of WBO, WBC and The Ring, the "eternal" champion of WBC, Vitali Klitschko, has become the first Ukrainian to be included in the International Hall and the Boxing Glory Museum (U.S.) in the category "Contemporary boxers."

The corresponding annual ceremony in which Klitschko will take part, will take place on June 7-10 in small town Canastota (the State of New York, U.S.), the press-service of the Kyiv City State Administration informed.

Mexican boxer Erik Morales, American boxer Ronald Wright, TV commentators Steve Albert and Jim Gray, promoter Klaus-Peter Kohl are among the other new members of the Hall of Fame who will also take part in the ceremony.

The legends of the world boxing Mike Tyson, Wladimir Klitschko, Riddick Bowe, Miguel Cotto, Marco Antonio Barrera, Kelly Pavlik, Antonio Tarver, Sergio Martinez, the Spinx brothers, Christy Martin, etc., will take part in the ceremony.

According to the Kyiv City State Administration, during his visit to the United States, Klitschko in Washington will hold a number of bilateral meetings with congressmen and other representatives of the U.S. political circles.

The International Boxing Hall of Fame is a hall of fame and a boxing museum, where boxers, promoters and everyone who has made a significant contribution to the development of world boxing are honored.
