UEFA backs position of Kyiv City Administration on impossibility of using Gazprom logos in Khreschatyk fan zone
UEFA has supported the position of Kyiv authorities on the impossibility of using the logos of the Russian Gazprom as a partner of UEFA in the design of the 'Festival of Champions' territory for fans and guests of the Champions League final on Khreschatyk.
"Mass protests, acts of vandalism and graffiti show are canceled. UEFA has agreed with the position of the Kyiv City State Administration about the impossibility of using the logos of Gazprom, even as information about the Champions League partners. Everything has already been cleaned. Now, a new design is being printed that will replace the dismantled one. Thank you all for understanding," chief representative of the Kyiv City State Administration on the preparations for the Champions League final Andriy Myroshnychenko wrote on Facebook.
