Shakhtar Donetsk wins Ukrainian Cup

Football Club Shakhtar Donetsk has become the owner of the Cup of Ukraine for the 2017-2018, beating Dynamo Kyiv in the final.

The first half of the final match, which was held in Dnipro on Wednesday, ended without a goal. On the 47th minute, "miners" opened the score after Facundo Ferreira had met a cross of Bohdan Butko. Yaroslav Rakitsky scored with an accurate shot of the penalty kick on the 61st minute.

These goals brought Shakhtar the 12th victory in the Cup of Ukraine in history and the third in a row. Thus, Shakhtar defeated Dynamo by the number of victories in the tournament, which has won the Cup of the country 11 times.
