AMCU starts monitoring Kyiv hotels due to price hikes ahead of Champions League final
The Kyiv territorial branch of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has begun official monitoring of hotels in Kyiv because of reports regarding an increase in prices ahead of the Champions League final, head of the AMCU's regional branch in Kyiv Oleksiy Khmelnytsky has said.
"Because of the rush caused by reports of a rise in prices for hotel rooms during the Champions League final, the Kyiv territorial branch of the AMCU has begun official monitoring of the market for providing hotel services in the capital," he wrote on his Facebook page.
At the same time, Khmelnytsky noted that because of the lack of information, it was too early to talk about a possible collusion or opening a case.
