Ukraine to send 33 athletes, including 11 biathlonists, to 2018 Winter Olympics
Ukraine will send 33 athletes to compete in the 2018 Winter Olympics, commonly known as PyeongChang 2018 hosted by South Korea.
The press service of Ukraine's National Olympic Committee on Wednesday said Ukrainian athletes will compete in nine out of the 15 sports categories: biathlon – 11, figure skating – 4, luge – 6, freestyle skiing – 6, cross-country skiing – 4, Alpine skiing – 2, snowboarding – 1, skeleton – 1 and Nordic combination – 1.
The Winter Olympics will be held in PyeongChang, South Korea from February 9 through February 25, 2018.
