Shevchenko says he wants to continue working with Ukrainian national team
Head coach of the Ukrainian national football team Andriy Shevchenko would like to continue working with the national team.
"I see progress in the game of the team. I see that the team can play better and this instills confidence in me. I want to stay working with the national team," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
Shevchenko noted that now the decision should be made by the executive committee of the Ukrainian Football Federation.
The head coach said that he assumes responsibility for the team's failure to enter the 2018 World Cup.
