NBU, Deposit Guarantee Fund, PrivatBank lose counterclaim in Dynamo FC case
Kyiv's administrative court of appeals on June 27, 2017 has decided not to satisfy counterclaims of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), Deposit Guarantee Fund and PrivatBank (Kyiv) in the case declaring Dynamo FC (Kyiv) an affiliated structure with the bank and blocking its accounts.
The court left in force the ruling of Kyiv's district administrative court dated March 20, 2017. The court ruled that the decision of the NBU commission determining affiliated structures with the bank dated December 13, 2016 declaring Dynamo FC affiliated with PrivatBank.
The press service of the NBU told Interfax-Ukraine that the central bank has received the ruling and soon plans to file a counterclaim to the higher administrative court of Ukraine.
As reported, FC Dynamo on June 21 said that PrivatBank has stopped providing the club with tranches on the credit line, which is the main source of its financing, over the position of the NBU particularly, the position of Deputy NBU Governor Kateryna Rozhkova.
