Ukrainian tennis player Svitolina reaches Roland Garros quarterfinal
Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina has defeated Petr Martic from Croatia in three sets with a score of 4-6, 6-3 and 7-5 and reached the Roland Garros quarterfinal (France), which is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments.
At the same time, the Ukrainian tennis player, losing in the third set with a score of 2-5, stood on hind legs and won five games in a row.
Thus, Svitolina repeated her year before last result at Roland Garros. She must defeat Romanian Simona Halep to reach the semifinal.
As it was reported, since the beginning of this year Svitolina has already won tennis tournaments in Taiwan, Dubai, Istanbul and Rome and takes the 5th place of the world rating.
