Vitali Klitschko to participate in U.S. WBC annual convention, hold meetings with U.S. politicians
Kyiv city mayor Vitali Klitschko has left for the U.S. to participate in the 54th annual convention of the World Boxing Council (WBC), according to the mayor's press service.
According to the press service, the opening ceremony will honor the memory of Muhammad Ali. His wife Lonnie is invited to the event.
During the convention, sessions of the WBC ruling bodies, voting for annual awards will be held.
Sports legends like Evander Holyfield, Larry Holmes, Julio Cesar Chavez, Roy Jones Jr., Naseem Hamed, Riddick Bowe, Terry Norris and many others will take part in the convention.
Except for the WBC convention attending, Klitschko will hold a number of political meetings in the U.S.
