Shakhtar to face Sevilla in UEFA Europa League semi-finals
Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk will play with the Spanish Sevilla in the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League.
These are the results of the draw, which took place in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday.
The semi-finals games are scheduled for the period from April 28 to May 5. Shakhtar's first game will be at its home field.
The second semi-final belongs to the Spanish Villarreal and the English Liverpool.
Sevilla is the present winner of the tournament. In the season of 2014-2015, the Spaniards defeated another Ukrainian team, Dnipro from Dnipropetrovsk, with a 3-2 score.
Sevilla also has a record number of wins in the Europa League (the UEFA Cup), they have won the tournament four times (2005/06, 2006/07, 2013/14, 2014/15).
In addition, the UEFA Cup of the 2006-2007 season, Shakhtar and Sevilla played on in the 1/8 finals, when the Spanish club defeated the Ukrainians in a dramatic duel: The Sevilla team scored a 2-2 draw in Seville, Andalusia, Spain, and won a 3-2 score in Donetsk.
