Wladimir Klitschko, Alex Leapai to fight on April 26
The teams of world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko and Australian Alex Leapai have signed a contract on holding a bout in Germany's Oberhausen on April 26, reads a statement posted on the official Web site of the Klitschko brothers on Monday.
In November 2013, the 34-year-old contender for the WBO title, Leapai, unexpectedly defeated Russian Denis Boytsov and became the mandatory challenger for the fight with Wladimir Klitschko.
Klitschko, who holds the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO belts, defended his titles in a fight against Russian Alexander Povetkin, which took place in Moscow in October 2013.
