Dnipro loses to Fiorentina, takes second place in Europa League Group E
Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk has lost to Italy's Fiorentina 1-2 in a match of the sixth round of the Europa League group stage.
Dnipro midfielder Yevhen Konoplianka scored an opener in the 13th minute. Spanish midfielder Joaquin equalized the scoring in the 42nd minute. Colombian midfielder Juan Cuadrado led the Italian side to victory in the 77th minute.
In another Group E match Romania's Pandurii and Portugal's Pacos Ferreira played out a goalless draw.
Thus, Fiorentina has won the group with 16 points. Dnipro took second place with 12 points. Pacos Ferreira collected three points, and Pandurii has two points.
