Shakhtar, Dynamo fined for behavior of their fans during league match on August 4
FC Shakhtar Donetsk has been fined UAH 50,000 for the mass setting off of fireworks by supporters of the team at the Donbass Arena stadium during a match of the fourth round of the Ukrainian Premier League between Shakhtar and Dynamo Kyiv on August 4.
Dynamo, in turn, was fined by the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) UAH 100,000 for the mass setting off of fireworks by its fans, damage to 49 seats and an electronic scoreboard, and the chanting of obscenities.
"In addition, FC Dynamo is obliged to pay for the damage caused by the actions of its fans," the FFU's press service reported.
Dynamo was also fined UAH 25,000 for its fans' chanting obscenities and running onto the track during a match of the fifth round of the Ukrainian Premier League between Dynamo and Chornomorets Odesa.
Dynamo coach Oleh Blokhin was fined UAH 5,000 for violating the requirements of Paragraph 9, Article 15 of the Premier League regulations (the requirement for head coaches to shake hands before and after the match) after the match between Dynamo and Chornomorets.
