Readers of British magazine SportsPro see Bubka as next IOC president
President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Serhiy Bubka leads a poll conducted by the British magazine SportsPro among its readers to decide who should become the next president for the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Bubka won 40.66% of the votes of the magazine's readers. He was followed with a wide margin of votes by President of the German National Olympic Committee and IOC Vice-President Thomas Bach (19.78%), and IOC Vice-President from Singapore Ng Ser Miang (14.29%), President of the International Rowing Federation Denis Oswald gained (13.19%), President of the International Boxing Association Ching-Kuo Wu (6.59%), and Chair of the IOC finance department Richard Carrion (5,49%).
The election of new IOC president is scheduled for September 10, 2013 in Buenos Aires.
