Yanukovych congratulates Dynamo Kyiv on winning united tournament
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated the leadership of FC Dynamo Kyiv and the club's playing and coaching staff on winning the tournament of four teams from Ukraine and Russia.
"It's nice to note that the Ukrainian team demonstrated great skill, tactical playing excellence and teamwork," Yanukovych said in a letter of congratulations, which was published on the Web site of the head of state on Monday.
"Let your achievements continue multiplying the sports glory of our country and strengthen its international reputation," he said.
Yanukovych also wished the players good health and new professional achievements.
As reported, Dynamo Kyiv beat Spartak Moscow 2-1 on Sunday in the final game of the preseason united tournament.
The Ukrainian club scored ten points and won the tournament. Spartak, Shakhtar and Zenit each scored four points.
