Dynamo Kyiv defender Taras Mykhalyk has received the status of a free agent from the club.
"FC Dynamo Kyiv thanks Taras Mykhalyk for the years he spent with the club and wishes him success in his future football career," reads a statement posted on the club's Web site on Friday.
The 29-year-old Mykhalyk moved to Dynamo from Zakarpattia Uzhgorod in 2006.
With Dynamo, Mykhalyk won the Ukrainian Premier League in 2007 and 2009, the Ukrainian Cup in 2006 and 2007, and reached the final of the UEFA U-21 Championship in 2006.
He has played for Ukraine's national football team since 2006.
