President instructs Novynsky to attend to construction of new stadium in Sevastopol
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed the honorary president of Sevastopol football club and businessman Vadym Novynsky to address the issue of the construction of a new stadium in Sevastopol.
"For the first time in its history, FC Sevastopol has got to the semi-finals of the Ukrainian Cup. I wish victory to Sevastopol," the head of state said on Wednesday during the opening of a road bridge near the railway station in Sevastopol.
While talking to veterans on Mount Sapun, Yanukovych also spoke about the stadium construction project, which will receive support from the government and the city's authorities. According to him, they plan that the stadium will be able to accommodate 25,000-30,000 spectators.
