Shakhtar wins eights Ukrainian league title

Shakhtar Donetsk won their fourth consecutive Ukrainian League title on Sunday in a 1-1 draw with Kharkiv Metalist.

Metalist's Marko Devic opened the score after 39 minutes of the match, which took place at Donbas Arena.

However, after 84 minutes Shakhtar's Ilsinho equaled the score.

Shakhtar got 71 points, while Metalist and Dynamo got 56 each, Dnipro 49.

Shakhtar won eighth league titles in total, which still leaves it behind Dynamo Kyiv with thirteen overall wins. The third club, to win the Ukrainian Premier League is Tavriya Simferopol.
