President of the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) Anatoliy Konkov has met with FIFA President Sepp Blatter as part of his working visit to St. Petersburg and discussed a number of strategic issues in the development of football and the recent initiatives of the International Football Federation (FIFA).
"The meeting with Mr. Blatter was not long, but very fruitful. The head of the international federation was interested in our proposals. Mr. Blatter proposed continuing the conversation in more detail at FIFA headquarters," Konkov told the FFU's press service.
The FFU president also attended a plenary meeting of the heads of national football associations, which was chaired by Blatter and President of the Russian Football Union Nikolai Tolstykh.
