Football Federation of Ukraine gets national status
The State Service for Youth and Sports of Ukraine has held a competition, following which the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) received national status, which confirms its right and ability to hold sports competitions at the highest level.
"According to the contract, which the parties will formally sign in the near future, the State Service for Youth and Sports will empower the federation to hold official international competitions in Ukraine, as well as national football competitions," the FFU's press service reported on Thursday.
During the competition, it was recognized that the FFU fully meets the requirements for a national sports organization, actively developing football in the country, having membership of relevant international organizations, the necessary logistical and information base, and provided with qualified employees who have extensive experience of work.
