Vitali Klitschko says his brother's fight against Povetkin should be held in Ukraine or Russia
The fight between WBA world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko of Ukraine and regular champion Alexander Povetkin of Russia should be held in Ukraine or Russia, Vitali Klitschko has said.
"The situation is interesting. Wladimir is the world champion, but it turns out that there is another champion - Alexander Povetkin. However, I think that it will be an interesting fight for boxing fans. I'm confident that this fight should be held in Ukraine or Russia. It won't be interesting if the fight between the Russian and the Ukrainian takes place in the United States or Germany," he told the Komsomolskaya Pravda v Ukraine newspaper.
As reported, the World Boxing Organization (WBA) obliged Wladimir Klitschko to hold a fight with Alexander Povetkin by February 24, 2013.
Wladimir Klitschko is the holder of WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight belts.
