UEFA fines Arsenal Kyiv EUR 75,000 for violation of financial fair play regulations
The UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) adjudicatory chamber has fined FC Arsenal Kyiv EUR 75,000 for overdue debts.
"A total of EUR 30,000 of this amount is suspended and will only become due if the club is not able to prove, by March 31, 2013, that it has paid its overdues in accordance with the UEFA Regulations," reads a statement posted on UEFA's official Web site.
At a meeting in Nyon, Switzerland, the CFCB adjudicatory chamber took its first decisions in the cases of nine clubs that had been referred to it by the CFCB Chief Investigator, due to the presence of significant overdue payables balances.
