FC Shakhtar Donetsk forward Luiz Adriano has been suspended for one match for violation of the principles of conduct during the UEFA Champions League game against FC Nordsjælland, reads a statement posted on UEFA's official Web site.
The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body took such a decision on Tuesday.
The suspension applies to next week's UEFA Champions League group stage game between FC Shakhtar Donetsk and Juventus in Ukraine. The Shakhtar player has also been required to perform one full day of community football service.
Adriano had been charged with violation of the principles of conduct (Article 5, UEFA Disciplinary Regulations) during last week's UEFA Champions League Group E match against FC Nordsjælland in Copenhagen.
