Khmelnytsky region sends UAH 116 mln for procurement of military equipment
Khmelnytsky Regional Military Administration allocated more than UAH 116 million for the procurement of drones, electronic warfare, and other military equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Serhiy Tiurin, the head of the administration, said on July 27.
"In 2024, Khmelnytsky Regional Military Administration has allocated from the regional budget UAH 116.7 million to support the security and defense forces, including UAH 54.5 million of the assets from the privatization of municipal property," he said on the Telegram channel.
The money was spent on the purchase of drones, electronic warfare, spare parts for automotive equipment, trawls for the transportation of cargoes, and other important things for the Ukrainian defenders.
"We are supporting our defenders in the fight against the Russian aggressor. Bringing Victory closer is an important task of our community," the official said.
