Another exhibition of Galyna Moskvitina’s lightangs in Kyiv
Personal exhibition of paintings by the famous Ukrainian artist Galyna Moskvitna is held at Kyiv’s exhibition center "New Age" from January 21 till February 20. The artist herself was not present at the opening of the exhibition, as she always avoids publicity and related hassles. The exhibition differs from previous ones, it combines two projects of the artist - the project "Evolution" and the project "Harmony", as the private fund "Arcane Art", exhibition organizers have told. The project "Evolution" is made up of reproductions of works by Galyna Moskvitina, the originals of which were commissioned by specific people, seriously engaged in self-development, and are held in private collections. According to the artist, all works of this project are so personal and deep in character that the exhibition of the original versions is not possible. Reproductions of lightangs from project "Evolution" have already been demonstrated last Summer in Odessa, and aroused the interest not only among critics but also among collectors and those interested in personal development. In addition to reproductions of the current exhibition there are also some original works by the artist, which are part of the project "Harmony". They are united for international tour, "Code of Light", which has already visited Tel-Aviv (Israel), Milan (Italy), London (United Kingdom) and Kyiv (Ukraine). During the tour the painting "Ray of Creation" has left the collection, since it was sold at the winter bids of the British auction house MacDougall's. Instead of the withdrawn painting, another work by the artist has been included to the exhibition from the same collection. According to further plans, after the exhibition at "New Age" center, this part of the collection will continue the artist's world tour to New York (USA). By the decision of Galyna Moskvitina, traditionally one of the reproductions of the project "Evolution" is presented by private fund "Arcane Art" to the center, where it is exposed. Information about Galyna Moskvitina Style of Moskvitina - laternative realism - belongs to the so-called objective art, working with the concepts of soul, spirit and their development. In contrast to the rest of Contemporary Art, dedicated to solving specific problems, the paintings by Galyna Moskvitina work with the highest level of general tasks that humanity has ever solved. Moskvitina’s pictures are called "lightangs" from the wrods "light" and "anchor" – anchors of light on Earth. In the pictures there is no horizon line, there’s an infinite space in which the gravitational laws are not being felt. The pulsating waves of the works shimmer of light energy revolving around the canvas and emitting a spectator. Lightangs of Galyna Moskvitina are successfull in the Ukrainian and the World’s art community. The painting "Dance School " has been sold at Russian bids by auction house Bonhams. A picture "Ray of Creation" was sold at Winter bids by the auction house MacDougall's.
