PRESS RELEASE: 3rd AGRO-2012: EVOLUTION OF AGRARIAN MARKETS

The agricultural sector of Ukraine is one of the most promising in the country, and according to experts, it has the greatest investment potential. Nevertheless, there are many problems and issues, legislative ones in particular, that require consideration and refinement. With a view to providing a platform for discussion and constructive dialogue for experts, the Conference House, together with Agrarika, are conducting the AGRO: Evolution of Agrarian Markets forum annually. In 2012 the forum will be held for the third time and is scheduled for April 5-6, 2012 in Kyiv. IBcontacts provides information support to the event, and IBobserver newspaper is the official media partner of the Forum.

There are plenty of business events in Ukraine devoted to different AIC activities. The distinctive feature of the AGRO forum is its integrated approach. The issues are considered from different perspectives: legal, finance, technology, innovation, management, doing business in general, etc. Annually the Forum gathers senior managers of largest agro holdings, food producers, representatives of developing agro-companies, as well as potential investors.

The Forum agenda includes research, analysis of industry trends and competent recommendations on development of agrarian market segments, which ensures the practical character of the issues discussed.

The AGRO-2012 Forum is called to consolidate market players and elaborate on a common industry strategy in cooperation with the state authorities.

The key topics of the 2012 forum will be:

• Trends in the development of Ukrainian agriculture

• Attracting finance to the Ukrainian agriculture

• Land relations in Ukraine in current conditions

• Commodity markets of Ukraine: trends of development and forecasts.
