Poltava doctors received modern CT scanner

Artek Medical Group LLC helped the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky with the purchase of a new CT scanner. The company's Facebook page states that the device has already been put into operation and is actively used in diagnostic and treatment activities for residents of the region, internally displaced persons, and wounded soldiers.

Despite the logistical and security challenges posed by the hostilities, Artek Medical Group managed to organize the delivery, preparation of the premises, and installation of the new device in a matter of months by working with the manufacturer under a direct contract. The company strictly complied with the requirements of the tender documentation and Ukrainian legislation and fully fulfilled its obligations to the customer.

The wide-profile CT scanner handed over to Poltava Regional Hospital is capable of generating 32 to 64 submillimeter slices per rotation using IVR technology. The scanner is designed for fast and safe examination of internal organs, cardiovascular and nervous systems. This makes procedures usually available for specialized equipment possible as part of routine diagnostics and increases not only the throughput of the tomograph but also the quality of the examinations.

The model of the tomograph received by Poltava doctors also provide maximum radiation protection for both patients and medical staff, and it is possible to control the functions of the device from a portable workstation in the form of a tablet.

"Poltava region is constantly receiving evacuees, wounded Ukrainian defenders, and internally displaced persons. We are glad that we managed to satisfy the need of Sklifosovsky Hospital for modern and efficient diagnostic equipment," said Natalia Kurashko, Director of Artek Medical Group LLC.
