Ukrainian Red Cross Society evacuates people with limited mobility from front-line areas
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is evacuating people with limited mobility from territories under constant shelling by Russian invaders.
"The evacuation from Bakhmut, the delivery of humanitarian aid to Sviatohirsk and Siversk communities - the Emergency Response Team of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society continues to help people in Donetsk region," the URCS said on its Facebook page.
Volunteers of the Emergency Response Team evacuate people with limited mobility and persons with disabilities who, for health reasons, cannot independently leave settlements that have become dangerous for living. They also deliver food, hygiene products, medicines to settlements with a difficult humanitarian situation.
The Emergency Response Team of the Mykolaiv regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society also makes daily evacuation trips to Kherson.
