PRESS RELEASE: Acting Ukraina director Rostislav Levinson: I walk to work every day, don't need an office to get my job done

For the third day running, Rostyslav Levinzon, who was appointed acting director at a shareholders' meeting of PAT Univermag Ukraina on Nov. 7, has been barred from his office by unauthorized representatives of the now-former management. However, Mr. Levinson says, this does not prevent him from fulfilling his duties. "I don't need an office to do my job, said the new Ukraina director today, after his latest attempt to get into the director’s office. The shopping center is going through difficult times right now and it's not exactly easy to get the job done because of recent events and the fact that certain people want to get rid of the management and will do anything just so that they can hang onto their offices." "But I understand very well that this situation should not harm the company's ongoing administration and commercial activity. Ukraine's staff and, even more importantly, its customers, should not become hostages to this situation," Mr. Levinson added. "The company and I, as its acting director, will do everything in our power to ensure that the shopping center continues to operate smoothly." Rostyslav Levinzon was born in Kharkiv in 1965.
