Press Release: Central forum of Ukraine's fuel market operators to take place in Kyiv on November 10-11, 2011

The third international conference on issues of the Ukrainian fuel market, Petroleum Ukraine 2011, will be held in Radisson Blu Hotel in Kyiv on November 10-11. The organizers of the event are the A-95 Consulting Group and the Ukrainian Fuel Traders Association. The forum is supported by the largest operators of Ukraine's fuel market, including TNK-BP Commerce, the Belarusian Oil Company, Orlen Lietuva, and the OKKO fuel filling stations chain.

The forum agenda includes a wide range of topics, from changes in global patterns of energy consumption, the problems of the oil refining complex, and the policy of leading traders, to innovations in marketing and fuel retail technologies.

"The main theme of Petroleum Ukraine 2011 will be the fight against unfair competition, the main manifestation of which is trading in low grade or smuggled fuel," A-95 Consulting Group Director Serhiy Kuyun said.

Given the importance of the issues to be discussed at the forum, representatives of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry, the Infrastructure Ministry, the State Tax Administration, the State Customs Service, the Antimonopoly Committee and other state agencies are expected to participate in the event.

"The problems of the fuel market, which will be discussed at the Kyiv forum, concern the interests of not only its participants, but the state, which is interested in the fullness of tax payments, and ordinary citizens, who want to get good quality fuel for their money," Ukrainian Fuel Traders Association President Leonid Kosianchuk said.

The media partners of Petroleum Ukraine 2011 are Interfax-Ukraine, the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia Ukraine weekly, the Energobusiness magazine, and the OilNews independent online publication.
